Creamy Pink Pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb pasta penne, spaghetti, or your favorite
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup tomato sauce or marinara sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil optional
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil or parsley optional for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Cook the Pasta
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  • Step 2: Make the Pink Sauce
  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the tomato sauce, followed by the heavy cream. Stir until the sauce is smooth and combined. Season with salt, pepper, and optional dried basil.
  • Step 3: Combine the Pasta and Sauce
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the pink sauce. Toss the pasta in the sauce, ensuring it is fully coated. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until it melts into the sauce.
  • Step 4: Serve and Garnish
  • Serve the pasta warm, garnished with fresh basil or parsley if desired. Enjoy!
